I'm watching and hearing all this outrage, concern and anger over what what the Democrats and RINOS are passing in Lansing. Massive all encompassing gun control legislation, amending Elliott Larson, tax hikes, repealing Right to Work and much, much more.
So I'll ask this; ARE YOU SURPRISED? Didn't the state of Michigan decide to elect all these Democrats and RINOS over the past few election cycles? "Oh Mike...Michigan is a moderate state...we only wanted moderate Republicans...not brash conservatives like you". Yeah? How's that working out for you? "Oh Mike...they stole the elections...it's all rigged". Yeah? And where were all the patriots demanding a full forensic audit? Why did the same RINOS who opposed forensic audits get reelected during the last primary? Where was the massive Patriot turnout last August? It didn't happen.
As I recall, all the rallies I attended and spoke at in Lansing and across the state over the past four years had increasingly abysmal attendance. It was the same dedicated 250 to 400 people at every one of them. Where were the thousands??? Where were the tens of thousands??? There were calls for Patriots to stand in solidarity against the unconstitutional lockdowns, Second Amendment infringements and to demand election integrity. Where were the thousands? Where were the massive numbers of pissed off Patriots to oust the Dems in November? Where was the "Red Wave"? It didn't happen in Michigan.
So, I'll say what I've been saying for years; if the people of Michigan aren't willing or care enough to take a stand against this tyranny in the hundreds of thousands or tens of thousands at the very least, then this tyranny will ALWAYS be the result! And those of us who have been yelling from the roof tops for years trying to warn the people of what is to come, being recieved by ears unwilling to hear, eyes unwilling to see and brains unwilling to think, then there is no more use for people like me in Michigan at present.
"Oh Mike...you're just bitter that you lost". No, I actually believe it to be a personal Blessing from God that I'm not in the State Senate now. I believe I would have already been slandered even worse and expelled from the Senate body and no doubt would have been removed in handcuffs at least once by now because I wouldn't be sitting by quietly.
I am bitter though. I'm bitter that the largest gathering of Patriots in Michigan's history rose up to run for public office over the last two election cycles and were rejected or cheated wholesale and no one seems to give a damn. I'm bitter that so many of us put our lives on hold to fight to stop what we now have and yet this disaster is the result. I'm bitter that the state I grew up in which could have been the gem of the country is now becoming one of the biggest shit holes in the country. I'm bitter that our children are being subjected to unbridled filth and debauchery and with the exception of a few warriors, the vast majority of the people in this state think it's just fine. I'm bitter that Michigan is now the baby killing Capitol of the world. I'm bitter that our Second Amendment is being ripped to shreds and so many think it's a good thing. I'm bitter that Michigan is trying to emulate California...specifically San Francisco. If my family and I wanted to live in San Francisco we would have moved there. Instead, San Francisco came to us! And my bitterness is shared by the few of us who had the courage to take a stand, who have swam across shark infested oceans for a group of people who seem unwilling to even dip their toes in the water!
Many of you will be angry with this next statement but I believe Michigan is a lost cause...at least for now. Does that mean we give up? Absolutely not. But if you ask any experienced combat Veteran, they will tell you that you must asses the battlefield and the battle itself. Sometimes you have to retreat and regroup and come at it from a different angle in order to win the war.
Sometimes you must choose a different battlefield entirely, one where you can gain the high ground or the best strategic advantage. As many of you have heard me say over the last four or five years, we are in a battle for the heart, soul, traditions and freedoms of this state and this country. Right now, we are losing that fight. Those of you who are just now waking up to this fact must make some tough decisions; do you keep your heads low and hope it turns out alright and continue with your present life distractions or do you take a stand for once? Those decisions by the great silent and disinterested majority will determine our ultimate fate as a state and a nation. But the expectation that the few of us who have been taking a stand up until now are somehow going to save the state when so many refuse to do more than just complain on social media...are sadly mistaken.
So, on behalf of the few of us who have been in the trenches all this time, I ask; what will the many do now? Will you take a stand? Will you put yourselves out there? Will you put your golf game on hold? Will you sacrifice a workday or weekend take a stand? Will you finally speak up and risk the slander and ridicule that will follow? Will you demand a hault to this nonsense in Lansing and across our state? Will you organize recalls of these politicians? Will you show up in the tens of thousands in Lansing demanding accountability? Will you at least call your Reps, Senators, township boards and school boards? Will you show up by the thousands at those board meetings? Do you care enough? Or are you just not quite uncomfortable enough yet or hoping some politician or talking head on TV will save the day? Or...is this what the great silent, disinterested majority really always wanted for Michigan and our nation?
We shall see...
