The Roles & Responsibilities of School Board Members Straight From the Authority of the MASB

Cindy Shaw, the newest Board member, most recently appointed to the Hartland Consolidated Schools Board of Education, seems to be uncertain of her power / role as a board member.

This evening, a parent shared this article in response to Shaw's post in Superintendent Chuck Hughes, Facebook group (manned by Ashley Happonek, Julie Mcdonnell using alias Shelley Renee.) We really don't understand why they insist on banning district parents, just the same, we will share the information here in hopes it makes its way to Cindy and the rest of the appointed board. We said APPOINTED because nearly half of the board hasn't been elected, they have been APPOINTED, all within the past 15 months. (Use your own discernment. )
